Flavoured Teas

Apricot Dream

Apricot Dream is a blend of the finest Ceylon tea, sunflower petals and blue mallow blossoms, it has a luscious apricot flavour with notes similar to summer berries with a touch of vanilla.

Our inspiration for this fruit and black tea blend was the bright, exotic fruits of Summer and long, lazy iced teas in the sun. This blend captures these ideas perfectly for an infusion that is naturally sweet and packed with wonderful apricot flavours.

This black tea can be enjoyed hot, but is also excellent served as a naturally sweet iced tea. For best results, add to cold, filtered water and leave in the refrigerator overnight. The infusion will be ready first thing in the morning and can be topped up throughout the day. Add ice and fruit pieces for a refreshing and cooling treat.

To Enjoy

Place one teaspoon per cup into an infuser, filter or teapot. Add freshly boiled water and infuse for 4 minutes. Serve immediately or remove leaves to prevent spoiling.

According to some studies, long-term consumption of black tea has been linked to lowering the risk of a stroke.

The high concentration of flavonoids found in black tea are said to help reduce the clotting of arteries, acting as antioxidants to reduce the levels of damaging free radicals in the body.

Often black tea is overlooked for its health benefits; overshadowed by the publicity surrounding the health benefits of green and white teas.
