Blue Sky is a beautiful blend of the finest Chinese Sencha green tea with real rose petals and blue mallow blossoms. It is distinct for its fragrant sweetness which is full of perfume mixed with rich fruity flavours all balanced with wonderful green tea flavours and a touch of spiciness on the finish.
This tea is a wonderful hot treat suitable at any time and for any occasion, but it also makes a delicious cold-brewed tea. To prepare, add 1tbsp per 200ml to cold, filtered water and refrigerate overnight. The resulting infusion will be ready to serve and sweet with no bitterness and much softer tea flavours.
Place one teaspoon per cup into an infuser, filter or teapot. Switch the kettle off, before it boils, when you hear the water rumbling. Add the hot, but not boiling, water and infuse for 3 minutes. Serve immediately or remove leaves to prevent spoiling.

The secret of green tea lies in the fact it is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallo-catechin gallate (EGCG) - one of the most powerful polyphenols (natural antioxidants) found in green tea.
EGCG has also been reported as effective in lowering LDL cholesterol levels, and inhibiting the formation of abnormal blood clots (thrombosis); considered among the leading causes of heart attacks and strokes.
Other health benefits indicated through scientific study include :
Helping to prevent tooth decay and reduce bacteria that causes halitosis (through naturally occurring fluoride)
A reduced risk of several cancers - skin, breast, lung, colon, oesophageal, and bladder.
