Wimbledon Blend

To celebrate the 2016 Wimbledon Tennis Tournament we have created a new refreshing blend of cucumber pieces and citrus peels with premium black tea.

Available only during the Wimbledon fortnight, it is a careful blend of finest black tea, real cucumber pieces, citrus peels, orange pieces, blackberry leaves and safflower blossoms. The dark, curled tea leaves produce a mid-brown liquor and this tea features a light and distinctive aroma and flavour which combines cucumber with sweet hints of melon.

Known for its antioxidant qualities and as a source of vitamins K and C; cucumber is said to reduce inflammation and help fight infection. It is also well known for its use in health spas and treatments as a fresh and restorative ingredient.

This cooling and mellow blend can served hot with lemon or honey to taste, or as an iced tea with a sprig of mint.

Place one teaspoon per cup into an infuser, filter or teapot. Add freshly boiled water and infuse for 4 minutes. Serve immediately or remove leaves to prevent spoiling.
